By downloading or using Umbrify, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.

Description of Service

Umbrify provides data breach monitoring, password exposure checking, link scanning, and privacy protection tools for personal use. The service is provided "as is" and is intended for informational purposes only.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Umbrify. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental consent. By using the service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Subscriptions & Billing

• —Free plan (Radar) is available with no payment required
• —Paid plans (Shield at $6.99/mo, Vault at $14.99/mo) are billed via Stripe through our in-app web checkout
• —Annual billing options are available at a discounted rate
• —Prices are displayed in USD
• —Your locked-in rate will never be raised as long as your subscription remains active
• —You may cancel at any time by contacting us at [email protected]

Acceptable Use

• —Use the service only for lawful personal privacy protection purposes
• —Do not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse our APIs
• —Do not share your account credentials with others
• —Do not use the service to check emails or data you do not have authorization to check

Disclaimer of Warranties

Umbrify makes no guarantees about the completeness of breach data. Breach databases are inherently incomplete — the absence of results does not mean your data is safe. We do not guarantee that alerts will be delivered in real time in all circumstances.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Umbrify shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and software associated with Umbrify are owned by Umbrify and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without written permission.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting the app and cancelling your subscription. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.
